Heaven on the Planet has a new air-conditioned gymnasium with space for yoga and exercise, in the Surga Shala, overlooking Rinjani volcano and much of Ekas Bay and the surf.
The big room is entirely made of glass walls.
“When the panorama is amazing, solid walls are wrong like a sausage dog at a barbeque”, Kerry said. “So we made the glass box to create a space for air conditioning, without blocking the views”.
The first comment made by a guest was “it felt so luxury, I loved it”. This came from Kerry’s daughter Julia who may be a bit biased about her father’s architecture, but she said she really meant it.
